Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to participate in a new ESH survey designed to evaluate the “time needed to treat” and the real lifetime expenditure involved in hypertension care.
While early diagnosis and proper treatment of hypertension are crucial and lifesaving, the implementation of hypertension guidelines remains suboptimal. This survey seeks to explore the everyday clinical practices of healthcare professionals, with a particular focus on the time allocated to various aspects of hypertension management. By identifying time-related barriers and gaps, we aim to provide future recommendations that better reflect the practical realities of care—introducing the concept of “time needed to treat” into the strength of guideline recommendations.
Completing the questionnaire will take approximately 15 minutes.
