| Az OVSZ sajtópályázata | Az Országos Vérellátó Szolgálat tevékenységének, működésének bemutatása, a vérellátásban dolgozó szakemberek és a véradók megjelenítése, a véradás inspirációinak, hátterének feltárása, a véradás feltételeinek ismertetése, a legújabb szűrési módszerek és tudományos ismeretek népszerűsítése.

Research programs are eligible for submission to only one of the five fellowships/grants. Programs in malignant as well as non-malignant hematology are eligible for submission.
This extended EHA Fellowship/Grant program will get into effect from the 9th annual congress of EHA in Geneva, June 10-13, 2004.

| | | | | YOUNG INVESTIGATOR JOSÉ CARRERAS FOUNDATION - EHA FELLOWSHIP:PURPOSE, ELIGIBILITY AND GUIDELINES | Eligibility and objective
José Carreras Foundation - EHA Young Investigator Fellowship program provides seed grant funds to promising young investigators to encourage and promote quality research in haematology.
The fellowships are sponsored through the Society via unrestricted educational grants from the José Carreras Foundation.
The applicant must be a MD or PhD and EHA member who, at the time of application, is in training in a haematology sub-speciality, post-graduate training program and is not older than 38 years.
The applicant should be working in a research laboratory or haematology clinical department.
The sponsoring facility must be an academic institution. An institutional commitment at time of grant is required. The primary preceptor must be in the candidate's proposed research field and must assume responsibility and provide guidance for the research.
Submission
Applicants should submit a scientific proposal in 10-fold that includes:
descriptions of background of proposed project;
specific aims of project;
plan of investigation;
relevant literature (in total no more than 6 pages, double-spaced);
budget proposal;
a biographical sketch of the applicant;
a letter of agreement signed by the chairman of the department of the institution.
Applications should be mailed to EHA executive Office before January 31, 2004.
Funding
The grant is for a two-year period, starting in January. The successful Fellow will receive a total of EU 37,500 per annum, of which the institution receives EU 2,500 to help defray the costs for administering the project.
The grant funds are directed to the sponsoring institution and may provide support for salary, supplies, equipment, travel, etc. necessary for pursuit of the recipient's research project. Funds are provided by one of the José Carreras foundations established in Europe:

It is both permissible and encouraged for a José Carreras Foundation - EHA grant recipient or applicant to seek additional funding concurrent with the EHA grant. Additional funding should be disclosed to EHA in writing.
Reporting and public acknowledgement
At the conclusion of the grant period, a final report is required highlighting the project's progress and summarising the usage of the funds. In accordance with the goals of the EHA to assist with the careers of young investigators, the recipient is required to respond to the Association's requests for information on their career progress following the active grant.
Grant recipients are responsible for presenting their research findings in an oral presentation or poster at the Annual Meeting within two years following the conclusion of the grant period.
All scientific publications, oral presentations, press releases or other information emanating from the project financed by the Fellowship must include a statement as follows: “This research was funded partly by the Fellowship (number or code) awarded by the José Carreras Foundation and the European Hematology Association”.
